Yes, because an animated GIF of them hugging and running accurately depicts the state of animation for the first two episodes and every one thereafter. A few seconds is enough to prove that the quality has dropped across the board.

Season 3’s premiere had those high budget scenes with Celestia and holographic crystals, Twilight singing with wind flowing through her mane and some other detailed non-spoiler parts, they all made it in the trailer. Just goes to show that S4 really hasn’t got much to boast with.
No, they don’t so as to not spoil said best parts. Or do you believe that plants swirling around and a bunch of dialogue are the best part of the episode? Seriously?
Don’t promo trailers always show the best parts? You know, to impress the viewers. These are our best parts in S4, it would seem.
