catnip was born to a lovely dutch couple in the netherlands, as a twin to a unicorn sister named raveheart. the family moved to equestria when the fillies were a few years old and settled in canterlot. cat eventually left the bustling capital, drawn to the peace and quiet of the mountain town of whinnyville. it was there that she found a job and love in caring for injured wildlife.
