Oh no, I know you weren’t saying she wasn’t pretty. :3 And wow, I somehow did not notice the contacts until now. They do have a very “glass doll eye” look to them. :P

I’m not saying she’s not pretty, there’s just something very odd about the lighting, the sharp lines and even colors. Perhaps it’s a Photoshop filter or makeup like you said… Might also be the colored contacts, those things always kinda irk me.

I guess I’m just not seeing it, but then, I suppose I’m more accustomed to how properly-applied costume makeup looks. It’s meant to look good in all lighting, as well as from afar, so it can be a little thicker in order to conceal blemishes. Of course, this is also a pretty girl with a lovely facial structure.
 
It’s funny, though - people like to assume this fan base is all “creepy neckbeards”, or something, but a look through the “cosplay” tag here shows that there are quite a lot of female fans out there, and - gasp! - they’re not all “land whales” or whatever other terms 4chan applies to anything female that won’t sleep with them.

Somehow, my uncanny valley sense is tickling. Anyone else catch that vibe? She looks like a Sim.
