“Anecdote”? Isn’t that the remedy for writer’s block?

I don’t know why Trixie is doing what she is doing, but I have come up with a few ideas of my own.
 
Trixie let Scootaloo go before because Trixie herself knows what it feels like to be a failure. You can see she questions her own actions from earlier in this comic. She doesn’t seem to have a reason we know of for stopping this cure other then she needs to do it so she isn’t viewed as as a failure. That still doesn’t answer WHO or WHAT made the virus.
 
Secondly somepony is telling Trixie to stop this cure from arriving… but what if the whole story is reversed. What if the “cure” isn’t right or wrong and could end up hurting everpony more? What if Trixie is trying to stop it for the betterment of Ponyville?
 
The writer purposely left this stuff it seems all lose to really make us wonder. I think this episode did a great job on touching base with everyone and adding to the depth of the world a bit. It is a surprisingly deep storyline that you need to be keeping track of. You need to remember stuff!

The implication I’m getting now, is that Celestia or Luna is somehow responsible. It would explain the magic nature of the virus. Neither of them are likely aware of this however.
 
I’m still wondering WHY THE HELL TRIXIE SABOTAGED THE CURE!

Whats to give up on? I’m following it quite well.
 
Twilight and the majority are stuck at the camp. Scootaloo is the only one with the cure now. Trixie is obviously tied to someone else in trying to stop the cure from reaching everypony for unknown reasons. And Soarin’ and Rainbow Dash are off on their own still safe from being found.
