I guess my other point is that, despite super-hero-comic-book levels of anatomy accuracy, a good sense of composition, color, and an adorable face can make up for a lot. :3
I guess my overall point is that, even in a piece where the subject matter is fantastical, going too far off the mark in rendering the anatomy of the being the subject is based on (ie; a human) can negatively impact the viewers’ reception to the piece, even when the rest of the image is otherwise quite high in quality. Ever heard of uncanny valley?
Alrighty, I see your point/critique.
Considering the whole thing is completely impossible anyway even if the anatomy was perfect - I fail to see what point you’re trying to make :P
oh, i dont mean the size; i have some rather large hips myself. i mean that the way the spine hits the pelvis on this one’s skeleton is physically impossible unless her spine sits on her hipbones and rolls around like a ball on a book wrapped in a plastic bag.
I don’t know, I know some gals with pretty big hips personally. (Though, one side does look wider then the other.)
Still cute though, I’m a sucker for bikinis. :P
