Well most of the time it was justified…But Fluttershy should have been able to hear AJ and Dash from behind the curtain.
 
And Rarity and Fluttershy should have been able to hear Aj and Dash again at the hole in the wall.
 
So yeah, Fluttershy and Rarity should have been able to figure out that they weren’t the only ones there.
