Yes, yes. I didn’t watch last week’s episode because I was away for the weekend. Though I can’t say I avoided the fandom until I saw it, I can understand how people might want to avoid such things.

My issue is that it doesn’t actually fit the definition of spoiler. It’s not related to the plot at all. It bothers me is all.

It’s a scene from the new episode, so it gets hidden. Just like every other scene from other freshly aired episodes.
A lot of people don’t see the episodes right when they air. There can be many reasons for that.
Those people are not interested in seeing ANYTHING from the new episodes until they watched it. That’s why we give them the possibility to hide every picture related to that episode. And for me that includes faces.
Oh, and if you want to go with webster: It ruins the surprise when first seeing that funny face in the episode. That’s how I see it.

The question is: why do you have a problem with it?

“information about the plot of a motion picture or TV program that can spoil a viewer’s sense of surprise or suspense”

Definition from Merriam-Webster.

What information about the plot can be taken from this that would spoil someone’s surprise?
