That was Pony New York. With all the weird stuff you see in real New York and imagine a lot of ponies would shrug her off as just “someone dressed like Princess Twilight” or a pegasus wearing a fake horn.

Twilight’s been a regular in Ponyville for a year and is probably well-known while Celestia visits occasionally and few know her well enough as a pony. I’d say they found it easy to adjust to Twilight’s change.

Pinkie did point out in one episode, “Hey look, we’re famous!” yet it seems they never get treated as such. :P

I really expected something like this to happen in the episode. I mean I liked the episode, but I’m the crowd that thought it was just.. weird to have the Daring Do books be a 1:1 telling of actual events and characters.
