It’s true. My wife and I thought that was great!
One thing that I’ve always loved about the CMCS: they love Scootaloo for who she is. Whether she can fly or not has never even entered the equation.
I’m still waiting for someone to make a DBZ kaio-ken joke with that line.
Dear Princess Celestia, today I learned I am a character in a western cartoon, not an anime.
It was a great lesson. Sometimes plain hard work isn’t enough, but work with your known strengths and you’ll do an even better job.
I have to admit I am genuinely impressed at how they flat-out told her “you may or may not fly, but you are you and that’s good enough”. That is a seriously great message for kids who feel inadequate.
I don’t think there was much doubt about that to begin with
Some people refuse to believe it, so it needs to be repeated all the time.
I believe that was shown several times already.
Her “5 times as hard! 10 times! 20 times! 30 times!” and still failing was too heartwrenching.
