The three dragons met up with the other two. So whats it look like? Spike asked.  
“No guards on the upper floor,” Mangle answered, “Most of them probably turned in for the night, theres a few looking over the night shift, down in the quarry, and it seems my friends are down there as well.”  
“Are there any other dragons that we could get to help us?” Snort asked.  
“Its just my group in this mine,” Mangle replied.  
“Why arent you down there with them anyway Mangle?” Magma asked.  
“Ikinda passed out from the work,” Mangle sheepishly replied, “I woke up back in the cell and found Spike, so the rest are probably still down there.”  
“Well then that makes things simple,” Spike said, “Weve got two ways to do this. You guys can draw the attention of the guards down there away, I go down there release the others, then we escape without a trace.  
“Whats the other option?” Sharp asked.  
“Surprise attack,” Spike said, “instead of splitting up we, go down there, knock those guys out, release the others, and get out of here. Thing is, I dont know the odds of how well well do against them. So lets take a vote, all in favor of the sneak way, say aye.  
Four dragons said aye.  
“And those who oppose?” asked Spike.
 
“AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH” Magma yelled as he took a running start and jumped down into the quarry from the upper level. Fueled from the humiliation of being taken captive, Magma was itching to take his frustrations out on some diamond dogs. He never was very subtle.  
“Thats not how a democracy works” Spike groaned as he watched his aggressive friend make the leap head on.  
“Hey, uh, since he just took off, maybe we should follow his lead?” Mangle suggested.
