What have I done…
Well, that’s a good point. As I saw on some 4chan thread image, there’s a point that 1) the villain appears to have hair-based powers 2) the mane 6 all have hair 3) spike is hairless. Ergo - Spike may be the one to save day not out of competence but by being the only one unaffected by the villain’s power.

Just a dream: Unlikely. Based on the Teaser I think the Pony of Shadows may have something to do with it.

Episode never begin mentioned again: Maybe. Depends how much it has to do with the overall story arc.
They say that, but the sheer amount of doubt I have in this show to do Spike right still makes it feel like a gamble.
But anyways… 2, 4, and 5.
Which is fine with me, since I’m not partial to that brand of smut anyway.
Unless, of course, it manages to look really interesting.
