I for one am amused by the idea that those wings are like some kinda of Mario Bros power-up, that can be given or taken away with such ridiculous ease.

I just wanted to point out that this is a commission and I just did what the commissioner told me to do. Personally I don’t have any strong feelings about this OC.

I see… in that case, I do understand quite well your craving for development of the OC’s character. As one who has an intense bond with a pony myself, I can tolerate and even be friends with people who take time to explain why exactly they adore the character, and show me they really do love her from now unto forever; or display a complex headcanon world with plenty of development and history.
 
When there is no substance to back up the lovey-dovey art, I become skeptical. And I’d expect nothing less from those who follow me as well - though my DA has only a handful of images (I being one who prefers to spend money on plushies), if someone was to confront me on my self-shipping I’d at least provide an explanation of my feelings and mind-view.

There may only be sixteen images here on Derpibooru, yet his DA gallery is seven pages long. All of them commissions by my understanding.
 
It’s not a denouncement of obsession. If he wants to ship his OC with Twilight, more power to him. I am doing something similar with my comic. Yet the thing I’m hungry for is character development. What drives this character? What are his motives? In those seven pages, I’m having trouble finding something that gives me a chance to look inside this character’s head.

So I went back and checked his previous commissions and while I can say the diaper fetish is weird, there is nothing particular about this OC to warrant extra hate than the typical person who self-ships with one of the Main Six (something I am familiar with, being one myself).
 
Silver-Quill, you claim he “invests a lot of energy and commissions” for his waifu Twilight Sparkle, yet when I check the tag there are only 16 images under his name. SIXTEEN. Hardly enough to warrant “obsession”, especially considering the length some people in this fandom go. When Harmony Star has as many OC shipping pictures as Kydose, that purple pegasus who loves Rarity (75 pictures and counting!), then we have justified reason to wonder why he hasn’t invested any significant effort into explaining his infatuation (something that still to this day vexes me about said pegasus).
 
Besides, all complaints aside, there is something very satisfying about seeing the Gary Stu de-winged.

Nothing knee-jerk about it. Check the ‘harmony star’ tag without any filters on. It’s a different species of terrible from the black and red 2edgy ones, but nevertheless…

Harmony Star (the creator of this OC) has invested a lot of energy and commissions into depicting his OC as Twilight’s love interest and future husband.
 
Yet even after all this time, I don’t know what the OC is like as an individual. Much like Flash Sentry, Harmony Star’s character is limited to being in love with Twilight.
 
So when an image like this comes out saying that the character “did something wrong” without specifics, people get frustrated and downvote. We need more info.
