True, but I’m talking in more of a console just not working from start. Like the Red Ring, the ps4 and xbox one both having huge issues after launch. I’d rather wait for them to have their 2nd version out so I have a chance of getting the product that should have those console killing problems gone.

First run consoles usually suck.
 
That’s really a thing with PS2 in later life (due to DVD drive laser degradation) and with the Xbox 360. It’s probably a wise policy, but it can come back to bite. (Later made PS3s lack backward compatibility, and the original Xbox used cheaper components in later runs.)

Hah, Pinkie Pie has it right. Lining up for a new phone when you already have one is silly. Seriously, lining up for a new phone or tablet or what ever item has an i in front of it is silly. They come out once a year and usually it’s better to wait a little bit to get one that works. Same with consoles. First run consoles usually suck. The 2nd run they’ve worked the kinks out.

Apple products are actually a God send for certain types of people (my technophobic parents, for instance).  
I don’t see the point in hating Apple or their products. The pervasive ‘Hey bro check out my new iPhone’ snobbery has long subsided at this point.

I am currently testing out a Chromebook I bought for my parents. It costs a fraction of an iPad and has this wonderful device called a keyboard. If you’re gonna be a sheep, feed on better grass.
