I have another drawing of my OC which looks more like a stallion, commissioned by a different artist. Admittedly, I do think this drawing makes my OC look like a rip off. The drawing is a little bit more accurate, but like you, I’m changing the exact design in my head constantly. This was done based on a base, so it’s going to look like a mare unless the artist completely changes the base.
 
This was also an early version of my OC. It now has blond hair, snow white fur, and light green eyes. I apologize for misinterpreting what you said. I’m really trying to make my OC as different as I can.
 
With that said, my OC is completely different than before. I’ll concede the name isn’t that original, but in this day and age it’s almost impossible to come up with an original name.

Really? Rule one on how to tell something is a rip off, a stallion that uses the mare template… unless it is a trap pony. Eyebrows mean nothing, since there are stallions with eyebrows and mares with our them, we can use Rarity as an example here for that. Also, saying, “hey, mine isnt a rip off, it has a different color scheme” is completely pointless, since the reason your character is a rip off is because it is based off a vector and was not drawn from scratch, which is how I made mine. I have put over a weeks worth of time simply in the design of my OC alone. I had to empty my waste basket from the amount of failed attempts I had before I made one I liked, but I didn’t stop there, I improved on him and eventually, I commissioned an artist to make my OC on the computer, since I cant do art on the computer very well, which is why I stick to paper and pencil. Heck I still am not done with my OC and he will continue to change. Next up will be his facial features most likely, where I add a hat, pony tail and my facial hair onto it.
 
Sure your personality is different then hers, but I never said you acted the same as her, now did I? I am saying your characters design is a rip off. I am not going to take personality into question without knowing the person first, I mean why would I? For me, my OC is simply a pony form of me and in turn acts just like me.

Yeah no. He’s drawn similar to Rainbow, but he’s not a rip off. For one, he’s male, note the lack of eyelashes. Two, this is a base from an artist on deviantart, my OC doesn’t always look like that, his hair’s a little off for one. (It’s shorter)
 
Three his personality is nothing like Rainbow Dash and is more akin to Fluttershy. Plus the colouring is different, there’s only one colour in it opposed to most RD similar OCs who have several.

Why are you comparing your rip off OC with the thing you are ripping it off of?
