I think they wasted too much time with a very ho-hum song and all the sneaking around later, and their capture of Shy was a little odd, but overall it was a’ight.

Pretty good IMO. Not quite “Wonderbolts Academy” good, but I would say I liked it more than her season 2 episodes. I’m not picky to the point that I think every episode has to be some kind of “masterpiece” in order to just be called “good,” though. MLP, like every TV show, has episodes that vary heavily in quality from episode to episode, and really there’s nothing wrong with an episode being just “good, but not great.”
 
Plus you might also want to take into account that everyone has different opinions. Differing opinions are fine so long as you don’t act like a dick about it.
