For a little while, I was tempted to make a secondary blog set in a D&D world called “Ask Rainbow Smash, the Chaotic Neutral Barbarian.” I think we can all be grateful that I resisted the urge. =P

I just wish there would be more tumblrs with OC’s and less “Ask Rainbow Dash with a silly hat” stuff.

For what it was, I had fun making AA and there are people who had fun reading it. That’s good enough for me.

A lot of the pony blogs I followed also went down around the same time, during or after S2. I don’t keep up with the fan community anymore, but with the franchise itself now working to expand the lore, I no longer look to pony blogs to scratch that itch. =D

More than just the Shining Armor thing, IRL circumstances conspired to end the comic before it got to grow into something better. I had a similar learning period with my old Mega Man sprite comic, like, a hundred Internet years ago.
