Brainiac Five is Brainiac’s descendant from the thirty-first century, and a member of the Legion of Superheroes. He’s a coluan rather than a robot, assuming that coluans are organics in the setting in question.
 
In case you’re wondering, Brainiac One is usually assumed to have started out as an organic before uploading himself into a computer or something.
 
While Brainiac Five is unlikely to exterminate the residents of Equestria, he is a total jackass in almost every continuity, so he’d find some way to piss them off. He knows that magic exists and has met more than one omnipotent being, so I’m pretty sure that he’d end up in some kind of fight with Discord.

Brainic Five is nice but has the same hardware. The original Brainic is evil. That’s about all I know about it as well.

The Exobytes got the powers from the heroes and villains of Earth that Brainiac harvested, which Luthor then stole and used to create superhumans… or so he thought.  
Instead he got the Exobytes which contained Pony data, transforming humans to Ponies.  
But wouldnt that mean that Brainiac has been to Equestria to get that data?  
And wouldnt that mean he killed all the ponies after collecting all their information and destroyed their world?
