P.S.: To me the main difference is: wearing makeup and standing in the sun, instead of standing in the shade. They otherwise appear to be the same woman to my eyes.
This is why I wish her coat was a darker shade of gray in the show, the rest of her color palette would stand out so much more.
Maybe the same for Sweetie Belle.
One or both.
For everyone who has not considered soundtea’s point:

This art has a positive score.
It has +19 higher score than the one uploaded here.
They both feature a darker skinned Fluttershy, sharing roughly the same skin tone.
They are both drawn by the same artist.
@Lord Niggertron
That’s some really good artistry awareness.
That didn’t even occur to me.
Its true that dark and light tones have different effects within the composition of art.
@Arne
Some downvotes are for racist reasons (these dozen or so assholes will downvote EVERY non-white humanization), and if the image is not above average, the upvotes will not negate the downvotes. While persistent, these are only a handful of people and are not in any way representative of the vast majority.
I’m so terribly sorry if I’m not about to scour the entirety of this site just to satisfy your burning, fiery need for “proof” of something that happens around here more than it should.
I’d prefer that the people making the claims back them up on their own.
And I’m just expecting someone to understand that not everyone compulsively hoards art, or the links to it. Everything I’ve seen was on this site - you’re still plenty welcome to look for it.
Always wisdom from our Lord Niggertron!
No, I’m just expecting someone who is making a claim to understand the concept of “burden of proof”.
They’re on this site, man. You’re welcome to look for them.
You’re making the assumption that every person personally saves and/or bookmarks their every browsing moment on here. It’s a rather foolish assumption.
Oh, really? Where are they, exactly? I would like to see them.
I absolutely love how people like you always make claims, yet never seem to give evidence to support them.
Except that I’ve seen other drawings nearly exactly like this in terms of style, with white skin, and a positive score. Something tells me you haven’t been here long.
So, in other words, you can’t possibly prove it.
And seeing as you can’t prove it, all you’re doing is jumping to conclusions and acting as if they’re fact.
White humanizations, even the poorer ones, tend to have a positive score cuz niggas won’t bother to downvote them. Also, since white skin doesn’t usually conflict with a color palette, the color comp usually dont look too bad, even with bad coloring. They’re forgettable, so fewer nigs will notice them.
Nonwhite humanizations, if done poorly, stand out. This makes people notice, and consequently downvote that shit. Furthermore, these images tend to be drama magnets, and niggas round here don’t like dealin with that shit.
Racism is a part of it, as with everything, but it ain’t the whole thing.
Except that would be pointless to attempt, since this one already exists. Without it having existed on its own, whatever would result from posting an edit could not be unbiased.
Ok, prove it.
Don’t give me that bullshit.
I guarantee you that if this had been uploaded with both of them having white skin, it wouldn’t be in the negatives.
And yet a tan Fluttershy posted before this one by the same artist has a positive score. Care to explain that?
people will say “i downvoted it because i dislike the ship” or “i downvoted it because the art’s bad” but if you honestly believe that tell me why it’s a fact that this image would have a positive score if they were white.
