If anything, it encourages the fandom. Heck, just look at all the Twilight Sparkle x Shining Armor Rule 34 that popped up in the wake of them being revealed as siblings. Doesn’t it still outnumber the Shining x Cadance stuff? ^_ ^
After the whole thing with Mr and Mrs Cake’s twins, I’ve given up wondering exactly how pony genetics work or influence offspring.
So the genome is to what portion identical about a 1/32 of one or 1/128 to the other.
So that goes way way back. About 5 Generations at least.
