Incredible, you managed to remember the only issue of Nintendo power I ever owned.
I remember in an old Nintendo Power a fan wrote into the letters section, saying people always complained about how “annoying” Navi was, and how much “better” the game would be without her. He then states, “Well in Majora’s Mask they finally get their wish. Now instead of Navi, we got some rude li’l fairy who hardly knows anything about enemies. I got to say I miss Navi.”
But yeah, Navi wasn’t that bad, some of her hints actually were handy. Tatl was kinda a biotch in comparison.
Even then there is still Tatl.
Navi at lest always tells you stuff that can help, sure you may know it already but it’s can help if you forget, Tatl complains half the time.
