True, true. I like this image for pretty much exactly the opposite reason though; the use of bondage gear makes it look like part of a larger regimen of punishment and humiliation, instead of a one-off spanking. Imagine her being made to walk around like that.
I do also like the casual bonds you describe, this image just suggests a different type of scene to me.
