Yeah, I do like it. I wasn’t into MLP prior to FIM showing up. But, I needed help that came from FIM. Prior to watching it I wouldn’t ask for help in anything, Even if I needed help. Things like this happened then:
Father: “You should clean this room. Will you?”
Me: “Yeah, I’ll do it. Stop asking, I’ll do it all by myself. (Thinking: I hope he shuts up soon.)”
Then I let it sit for a week or more, Not cleaning it.
Then my Father cleaned it himself.
I was a mess, And the cleaning is not finished as of this posting time.
I found there early work to be a little to childish, and too girly for my tastes, but when Friendship is Magic came out in ’10, I think it really came into its own, both commercially and artistically. The whole Show has a clear crisp dynamic sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the Show a big boost. Its been compared with the Care Bares, but I think My Little Pony has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.
Apparently has missed the joke entirely….
I do think people benefit from actually putting the good lessons told of in the show into practice. Love, Kindness, Loyalty, Honesty, Generostiy, Laughter (In good context) and that Magic…
Hey I know I have since I started watching it. I used to not even want to accept help from anyone and then when I was tired of my previous ways, After a prayer the very next day I watched it for the first time - All of the first eight episodes in a row.
