In case you were curious about why Applejack’s hat seems to vanish whenever Mebberson draws for the comic, here’s your answer.

@Itsthinking
Didn’t they also do the EQG comic..?
I’ve actually met comic artist Brenda Hickey since she’s from around here on PEI, so I’ve been able to get some really nice sketches, and a free signed Comic during Christmas. I like her work with the comics as well.
GAH! KILL IT!
It’s probably the worst cover of any in the series.
I’m not sure I want to see the covers you’re referring to…
Plus doesn’t Ms. Mebberson draw for multiple series? She can’t just sit around all day drawing and redrawing one character for practice.
That was a guy. And honestly, nothing can compete with one of the first issue alternate covers drawn by someone who both clearly had never studied pony expressions and was much more comfortable drawing semi-realistic comics. They had goddamn human faces.
I’m not really familiar with any of the other artists other than her and Andy Price. I know there was one artist who only did the art for Twilight’s micro issue (and that artwork was TERRIBLE), but I forgot her name.
Well, Jesus could walk on water but I don’t see many other folks doing that. =P
I’m saying Andy Price is a god.
She seems to be the only artist that has this problem.
@Lemonjack
Not to mention that Andy Price has no problems with it.
I agree. As an art student and someone who draws some mlp fanart I can feel her pain when it comes to drawing Applejack with her hat on from different angles. However this is a pretty lazy statement. Just practice until you get it right, which a professional like her should know.
