So foxy-noxy noticed AJ’s behavior yesterday as being familiar.
CODING SO HARD THE COMMENTS BROKE?
I did exactly that and last week it suddenly forgot all my subscriptions and my profile image was gone. For some reason it was logged into my Gmail Google account, which is the same account I use for Google+, to which I liked my YouTube account, which was for some reason not linked. So I had to sign out and back in again… No clue how that happened, but I fear it may happen again.
Yeah… last. They will never survive if that happens. They will hemorrhage users so fast that they’ll be forced to backpedal, and you know what?
I’ll tell Google to go buck themselves.
Having g-mail automatically signs you up under the same name for all google products, including youtube and google__, and they’re all synced. What you do is you get a g-mail, take your new youtube account, and link it to your old one. Now, your account is linked to google__, but you never have to even touch it.
Still, I DO understand greatly the kind of bullshit Google is pushing to people, and that screencap comic is just brilliant.
Yeah but I still need it nowadays just to comment and check replies/messages. Before all this I could just do everything on Youtube with no requirements and no trouble at all.

Having g+ and using it are two very different things IMO. I’ve had g+ for over a year and I still have no idea how its page looks like…
Let’s just hope that NEVER happens.
It couldn’t have because I linked my youtube with it once but then unlinked it. I’m one of the lucky ones.
Because some of us don’t want to use a social media website and we especially don’t want it being forced upon us to use a video sharing website’s most basic functions.
It’s the way they try to sell it. I don’t want to deal with it, but they won’t let me comment on youtube videos without it. That approach annoys me so much I resent google and forgo commenting on youtube instead.
That, and google is evil in general.
They’ll do it to get people use Google+. More users, that’s what they want.
I don’t get it why everyone hates g+
I had to create an account to register to some website years ago, haven’t used it since, I even forgot I had one. Then youtube merged commenting and I didn’t notice a thing people complained about (like being unable to reply to comments, or users unable to comment on my vids).
Before everyone misunderstands, I’m not saying it’s a good thing, but I don’t get the hate either.
