This is affecting modern times, when Luna is apparently in a love triangle with Cadance over Shining Armor. If she’s using how she murdered someone in a hissy fit as justification for why it’s okay for Shining to commit infidelity now, I’m not buying it.
Maybe this was before she was nightmare moon? More reckless than when her reformed version.
