Fascinating. Out of curiosity i just did a search using the tags i mentioned before. Seems there’s far more colourful pony art than before with a few anthro galleries scattered about.

I’m actually surprised by the amount that’s there. i wasn’t expecting this many Pictures. I always thought MLP wouldn’t be as popular as it is everywhere else.

I’m quite surprised

Oh, okay. A lot of those are actually western artists. There are some exceptions like go-it, but most eastern MLP artists draw pony and/or anthro.

Also, I was legit asking a question where you’re finding humanized pony on pixiv. I have several MLP-related tags bookmarked (fuckin pixiv with their inconsistent, case-sensitive tagging) and I mostly see pony.

Some Random artists under the tags “My Little Pony” and “MLP”.
i am by no means an expert on Pixiv or anything. It’s just an observation i made when i first browsed through Pixiv. And pony art like this one tend to be very simplistic.

Like i said i know next to nothing about Pixiv. But if anyone knows any good JP fan artists to check out, that would be great.

Is it just me or do Japanese artists have a harder time understanding pony legs than Western artists?
