The simple but intimidating bulk of the 8-3/8” barrel. Still a foot long gun but it doesn’t give off as much of a douchebag vibe.
It’s meant for defense against large animals, but it quickly became famous as a novelty hunting pistol.
Doesn’t stop it from being ugly as sin.
If you need to take big game at 200 yards, bring a rifle.
Jokes on you, that is either a S&W performance center model 500 or 460 XVR and they only hold 5 rounds. They’ll put down large game within 200 yards and people will still get morgue tickets at 250 yards or more. (I haven’t heard of anyone shooting it accurately further than that)
Impossible 4/5 shots on a 2’ target using the 500 (kicks harder than the 460 and has more arc to it’s trajectory) without a scope FROM THE STANDING POSITION
Oh yeah. Revolvers are cool.
