I never got the fandom still using the word plot for one specific thing. I rather just say butt.
 
Words like Parasprite (as a term for troll) fell out of use. And the fandom term plot was from some ponified joke from a motivational poster.

It only makes sense because that joke’s been around a while so the fan community has gotten used to it. It is incredibly easy to justify it just as well for this kind of an image (size of “plots” notwithstanding, let’s please not start up that argument again). For example, the referential joke I was trying to make earlier:
 
*In Monty Python and the Holy Grail, there is a scene where a lord tells his son that the woman he has been engaged to has HUGE… tracts of land, while motioning with his hands at about breast level.  
*Breasts = tracts of land  
*One of the words for a piece of land is a “plot”
 
Or you could just go with the joke the pony butts was supposed to be about in the first place, with how the way the pony butts were animated made them look a bit like human butts, and thus appealing. The joke was a flimsy justification while simultaneously presenting a baser reason (sexual excitement) for enjoying the show (like people claiming they read Playboy for the articles). And call me crazy, but I think most people are more likely to be more attracted to human anatomy than equine.
 
And now that I’ve had to explain the joke it is completely ruined. So thanks.

With pony butts, the plot joke made sense. Currently thinking for a replacement word to mean boobies with this. :P
