And it really irritates me whenever I go to the store and see nothing but empty spaces where the ammo is supposed to be. I ACTUALLY USE THOSE BULLETS!
Say what you will about Obama, like him or hate him, but his mere existence is a boon to the people who sell ammunition, survival gear, and gold, not to mention Fox News and talk radio.
Why would you stockpile on .22LR? I mean, the 80 million other guys, not you, it’ll actually make sense if you did now. It’s not like it’s that expensive, and unless mole rats are trying to rob you is basically useless in home defense.
After reading about it, you are pretty close. Except instead of one person buying up all the ammo, try 80 million. Yes, 80 million people tried to stockpile .22 bullets. Once some of this ammo buying panic settles down, I think I’ll stockpile too. Never know when ammo becomes rare again.
Didn’t someone made a fucking huge order of .22s and put everything in backorder until God knows when? I dunno, I’m not American, but if that happened people will have to wait until they can make new batches of the things, it’s not like they can sell boxes straight out of the plant, they need to sell those things by the truckload.
And Target Practice won’t die from any of it, either!
