I didn’t say that the competency of each of them was low, but rather the competency of the group. And you’re giving the others a little too much credit, I think.

But that’s not strange, given that the average competency level of male characters in the show is relatively low.

Fluttershy needs a stallion counterpart. Please god don’t let it be Bulk Biceps.

On Big Macintosh, hes not particularly honest because he has no self-rightous nature and indeed never communicates. He IS an extremely hard worker and very dedicated to his family, so id argue more for loyalty than anything.
You can see loyalty in a guy whos spent his entire childhood being the man of a farm, caring for an elderly relative, doing backbreaking labour to support his two younger sisters (until it somehow freakishly mutated him into the biggest male in Equestria) and never saying a word of complaint.

Hell, i cant say Rainbow Dash herself could beat that.

Generosity could arguably be Spike, since hes very dedicated to helping others (though you could even call that loyalty again realistically).

Ah yes, the elusive element of Loyalt. Loyalt, that characteristic that is important for society to exist. But I can’t help but feel something is missing. Loyalt feels incomplete.
