To quote an old meme: i am disappoint.
This reminds me more of Jem, and I quite like that. is hoping for someone to make a “totally outrageous joke at some point
Eh, I think it’s a useful subset of cartoon bands to make note of.
Well, they were IN a cartoon, so I thought it would fit. I promise I’ll never be creative again
These are cartoon bands, not real bands that have a cartoon.
Gorillaz would be in this list before them.
^ Welcome to the world of media.
So is damn near everything else, by that logic.
Indeed, it was The Archies that inspired Silverman to create “Mysteries Five” in the first place.
Technically speaking, it would’ve been the first.
Ya, but “Mysteries Five” wasn’t going to have them playing the music like all the “Mystery-Solving Band Show”, they where a band but we would of never had them playing.
Scooby Doo was originally supposed to be Yet Another Mystery-Solving Band Show.
Though, really, I’m impressed that whoever made this remembered the Chan Clan. Talk about a bizarre show…
sorta kinda. a semi-common thing was Jabajaw getting kicked out of places because “NO SHARKS ALLOWED!” or something like that and then him muttering “No respect!”
I heard it in my head as I read your comment.
@Blissey1
Ssh. :P
@Lathius
Did anyone outside of the gang ever question the fact that he was a giant shark in a band?
I remember they had a crossover episode with Scooby Doo, also that Harvey Birdman episode.
I remember how it was basically Scooby Doo with music.
then again, so was josy and the pussycats…
