Oh well, I’ve just forgot that she’s Pinkie Pie.
I don’t hate her, but moments like this make me think she’s really annoying. And I don’t overrate Fluttershy either.
Beyond this episode, she was flanderized. She tried to hard to be what she was known for and didn’t THINK for a second about what she was doing. She so oblivious to how Fluttershy felt and didn’t even apologize for not noticing. The moral behind Pinkie in “Filli Vaniili” is that she needs to think long and hard before she does stupid shit like this that makes people hate her.

Not really. Remember Cranky Doodle Donkey? With Pinkie running to the top of the flag pole and yelling “this pony is really, really bald!”? She does it in a lot of other episodes too. This wasn’t OOC for her at all, she just has no idea how to sympathize with introverted people since she’s such an extrovert, I mean, hell, she thought stage fright was a disease.
That’s probably not a good thing for Flutters.
Usually I would agree (and I do agree that she wasn’t trying to be mean), but this one seemed terribly clueless even for her. Plus, she usually has a better handle on how sensitive Fluttershy is (remember Griffon the Brush Off?).
Maybe she’s repressed Pinkamena for so long that those negative emotions are starting to boil over into passive-agressiveness?
…Her split personalities are merging! Head for the hills! >_<

What he means is what Pinkie Pie did makes him want to kill her.
…I heard someone say that about her in season 1 and everyone flipped out over how wrong that was. But… She really was acting autistic here. But that’s NOT what Pinkie is like! She’s not autistic, so what the hell were the writers thinking?! She has issues, but very different ones.
