Lunar Supporter - Helped forge New Lunar Republic's freedom in the face of the Solar Empire's oppressive tyrannical regime (April Fools 2023).
My Little Pony - 1992 Edition
Wallet After Summer Sale -

Memetic eldritch horror
Seems about right except for twilight, twilight doesn’t seem to fit the STPD mindset that well, she’s more along the lines of severe OCD. Also don’t forget pinkie’s bipolar disorder
Background Pony #2AC4
Actually, I think Rarity and Twilight Sparkle have different types of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Rarity is more set on cleanliness and perfectionism with some intrusive thoughts, while Twilight is obsessed with order and has massive intrusive thoughts.
“Lesson Zero”, people.

Do we really need to label every type of personality and emotion as a mental disorder? I think that’s going a bit overboard… I even see people from history being posthumously diagnosed with things (especially Asperger’s), when information about their lives points to the contrary. Not even the dead are safe. Apparently colorful, cartoony, fictional ponies aren’t safe, either.

@LanceOmikron
It doesn’t become a disorder until it’s uncontrollable and ruins your life.

Liking things neat is not OCD. Needing to check to make sure everything is perfectly in place every 20 minutes or you have an anxiety attack that shuts you down for an hour is OCD.

+1 for not giving Rarity narcissism.
She really has little in common with a legit narcissist. Neither does Dash but she is closer.

@Mad Black
Yeah, you’re probably right about that. When I first made the image, someone tried to convince me that Twilight Sparkle represented Autism or Asperger’s syndrome. While she may have some of those qualities, I don’t think Autism is a disorder so much as it is a disability.

But I concede the point to you about OCD.

@A Sad Pony
I guess I didn’t actually check to see if this image had been done before or not. Now that I have, I can see to it looks a lot worse in retrospect than I had imagined.

I guess I can only say, “Oops.”

I highly doubt that those disorders fit as well as it sounds. There is a lot more to it than just to make a stamp on it.
Like for Twilights schizotypal personality disorder, I highly doubt that she has it. She seems more like Obsessive–compulsive, because of her lists and perfectionism and everything.

Sometimes I wonder if a lot of these various “disorders” that people seem so quick to diagnose and name aren’t actually disorders at all, but are just normal personality quirks.
