I think I’ll blame Twintelle. It’s fun to blame Twintelle.
To be honest i genuinely tried to introduce derpibooru to a friend afraid of a porn, and we still had porn going out after filtering like 10 words. He just never tried again.
Plus some new stuff is not efficiently tagged (like some “questionable” content under “safe” tag).
Keep in mind that the porn is not necessarily tagged “Explicit”. Certain fetishes are usually tagged “Questionable” or even “Safe”, but whether they’re actually porn or not is debatable.
You mean to tell me that there’s a way to hide the porn on this website with customizable filters? HA! As if something that insane would ever exist!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to bring Twilight that book of human history I promised her.
Explicit doesn’t cover gore or violence. That’s where the Grotesque and Grimdark tags come into effect. Things with adult themes usually go under Questionable or Suggestive though, if it’s not too overt.

Not sure its a fight, more of a debate really. Sure some people are being sarcastic but overall there’s no name calling or anything like you’d normally see.
I’m not taking either side in this. But there is a need to update statistics periodically to ensure the most accurate results are displayed.
True, but suggestive and questionable images can also be sometimes considered porn. So there’s that to consider as well. And the Chart only lists 8.90% explicit, not 8.90% explicit porn. That was a mistake on my part.
Oh, wow. Ten percent of over 400000 images it’s pornography. My god. Oh, the humanity.
That’s only if every “explicit” picture is porn. Explicit also includes gore, violence and adult themes.

There are 490788 images on the site.
49967/490788=10.18%.
So now, more, not less, than 1/10th of the site is explicit porn.
What Roboshi just said, if you had ‘explicit’ on the chain it would of worked better.
We have had some bitching about the site being nothing but porn.
Fluffy pony grimdark. The chart was originally compiled in response to a thread complaining about the balance of content on Derpibooru.
Okay if it’s a joke I can get behind that.
Though if you put the “explicit” tag on the chain it might make the joke work a little better.
We’ve just had a lot of people bitching about DB recently and it’s usually been about pornographic content. So this might rub people the wrong way.
