Quick translation here (read right-to-left, of course)-  
AJ: “Twilight! Let’s play around with my lasso.♪”  
Twilight: “I’m at an interesting part now.”  
Twilight: “Why don’t you read with me, AJ?”  
AJ: “That kinda stuff is dull.”  
Twilight: “What are you doing?!”  
Twilight: “Reading’s fun for me!!”  
AJ: “But lassos are more fun!!”

My Japanese vocabulary is minimal, so I can’t make out much, but I find it interesting that in the second panel the roman letters “AJ” are used, but the ruby characters spell out the full name “Applejack” in katakana.

I exist, probably.
I cant understand a word of it but Im assuming conflict between Applejack and Twilight over Twilight’s obsession of reading to the isolation of all else?
