that, I should say, it’s more or less 3D for me. Like 2+1D, the best you are going to get with a 2D animation.

Understand that 3D images like this work on mind-tricks. Some people might not have enough of an instinctual understanding of 3D space to “get” this image. For example, a helicopter pilot will probably understand this image, but there’s no telling if a lawyer will.
