What?
It was clarified in the latest issue. Luna was never Nightmare Moon, and was one of Sombra’s closest allies… then, when Nightmare Moon was turned back into Luna, she suddenly changed.
Apparently, while the normal mortals (and immortals - Sombra is over a thousand years old, according to what he says) aren’t linked, the Alicorns are.
Sad.
