I am pretty sure that is the closest to accurate since Bills(eng)started out originally being a “plague” or “Virus” that turned the Saiyans evil if you look into the history of the development for Battle of the Gods. His name is suppose to be a play on “Virus” so Birus makes to most sense for a proper translation in my humble opinion.

Where I live is called Birus, but Bill is fine too.
His official English translation is Beerus. Calling him Bills in English is incorrect, but I understand how some people might wanna stick with that.
Well, that depends of where you live, but everyone calls him Bills.
