Hitler was terrible at delegating. His attempt to run everything in the war his way is one of the many factors that led to some the Allies victories over the German Army. He even ignored Rommel, a genuinely skilled strategist, which really helped the Allies quite a few times.
Gee, those attributes sound familiar…
Diamond Tiara’s “special talent” is charisma, represented by her cutie mark of a beauty pageant crown. She’s a natural-born leader, a persuasive talker, and feels comfortable delegating authority and giving orders.
She could easily become an Alicorn princess if she chose to use her abilities for good. Unfortunately she seems to have been seduced by the easier path of the Dark Side, and as a result has become a rather pathetic bully instead of the inspirational leader she could be. She still has a chance at redemption, but it would take quite a crisis for her to pull the heel-face turn.
DT and SS clearly wanted to meet Twilight. Whether they had any influence on the other foals doing favors for the CMC is up for interpretation. I believe that Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon told the other classmates about the CMC to ruin them.
Ponies do like her. the only ones that doesn’t is the CMC.
Okay I was just thinking about that. The CMC were never actually trying to take advantage of anyone – they weren’t really ASKING for the favors. Diamond Tiara was goading the other kids into doing it.
So that’s the thing – what started the ordeal was that the CMC were pissed at DT for getting everyone to do stuff /for/ her, and they wanted to drag her along so she could learn how to do work on her own.
Except then she ends up getting he CMC to mess stuff up for Twilight on her behalf.
DT probably didn’t even want to meet Twilight Sparkle in the first place – it was probably just a campaign to ruin everything the CMC loved.
She basically a good leader that no one likes.
she is good at scheming and can get ponies to follow her orders.
Diamond Tiara IS good at something. She’s highly skilled at exploiting others for her own gain. She’s exeptionally skilled at being bad.
