Man, I had forgotten how much the ID on this thing bothered me– thanks a lot, BP. I remember they ID’d it in TFR at some point, but that thread is long since in archives and I have no memory of what it actually was; best I can tell it’s either a Norwegian AG3 or an early model of H&K G3A3 from before they switched to the unvented handguard. It’s most certainly not a G3A1, though, and unless Squeaky Clean McGee up there put older handguards on it aftermarket, Im pretty sure it’s not an HK91 either.

I know, right? A full length battle rifle is a terrible choice for bathroom defense; much too long to swing in so tight a space. He needs a more practical Shower Gun.
 

When things just don’t make sense

Always surprised to see an arfcom classic showing up here; I’d expect more back and forth with TFR, given how many posters got their avatars vandalized during The Great Avatar Ponification a couple years ago and never bothered to change them.
