Yeah, and the “Nintendo Channel” let you download DS game demos from the Wii. (Said Channel has been discontinued.)
They considered allowing the Wii version of Ghostbusters to use the DS as a PKE radar device, or something, but never implimented that.
The only Wii-DS connectivity example I can think of was Pokemon Battle Revolution.
Yeah, that’s a bummer, they might have to change some things if they do remake it. Or let the players use 3DS systems as a controller instead.
Alot of GameCube games used GBA-connectivity support, yet oddly the Wii & WiiU hardly used any DS or 3DS-connectivity.
Also, I got Thousand-Year Door the day it came out from my local Blockbuster, back when Blockbuster still existed.
…Actually, since it was Blockbuster, it might have actually been a few days before it was actually supposed to come out… That actually happened to me a few times with rentals there…
I would have suggested using the Gamepad as a substitute for the GBA stuff, but then I remembered that only one Gamepad can be used per console.

Really? I only payed 20 for it, but that was back in was a “Player’s Choice” game, and on store shelves still. Guess it must be quite sought after.
Y’know, they should rerelease “Four Swords Adventures” on WiiU to. (Without all the complicated GBA set-up features which kinda hurt the game.)

My headcanon is that Vivian is actually female but referred to as male by the other less attractive Shadow Siren sisters with the intent of bullying her. It makes mastur– er, well, things involving Vivian in general more comfortable. My headcanon is now fact.
