Y’know, I just realized something while I was looking up the air-dates in this image. Apparently the writer who was responsible for writing Magical Mystery Cure not only wrote Cutie Mark Chronicles, but Sonic Rainboom as well.O.O

How often does she have to save her friends from falling to death? Or impress her bosses with something they already know she can do?
…you missed the “on a daily basis” part…the Sonic Rainboom (and, for that matter, the Stare, the Party Cannon, et al) would cease to be special if it were an everyday–or even a semi-regular–event. The Rainboom will come back when the Rainboom comes back.
And, technically, falling isn’t “crushing” so much as it is “sudden, blunt-force trauma cased by impact at terminal velocity”, but I digress.
Umm, it saved Rarity and the Wonderbolts from falling to their painful, crushing death? If Dash hadn’t pulled off the Rainboom, then not only would she have lost her idols, but she’d lose one of her friends, too.
…just how practical is the Rainboom on a daily basis…?
Let me make something clear, guys. One: I am not a slowpoke, I just made this because no one else had noticed the lack of Rainbooms since S2. Two: The Sonic Rainboom is RD’s special talent, and the writers seem to be putting it aside…a lot. I’m beginning to think they’re starting to kill the Rainboom off entirely.

There is almost limitless amount of things one can do and this person chose to complain. Why not to make waffles or go skiing instead?
But the Sonic Rainboom is what inspired Twilight to pass her exam and get Princess Celestia’s attention, starting a chain reaction of events that resulted in Alicornification. It was his secret plot from the very beginning!
What really? No wonder the Shows been so good this Season.

Rainbow Dash hasn’t pulled off a Sonic Rainboom since the S2 Finale.
The only thing we have seen that’s simiar to the Rainboom is the Sparkle Rainboom from the S4 Premiere, but that’s it.
