HE WAS JUST AN UNDERACHIEVE
A man who wanted to get back to his wife and newborn was mad enough at a group of people he was in charge with to call them names while all they wanted to do was mooch off someone that couldn’t tell them no.
Sure.
Maybe Seabreeze is right and the rest of his crew really are incompetent idiots.
^This. If name-calling and derogatory remarks were Seabreeze’s standard M.O., then it’s no wonder the other Breezies wouldn’t listen to him. But when someone who had actually shown that they cared told them it was time to get moving and wouldn’t tolerate lollygagging, then they were willing to get moving.

Then he didn’t exactly start out nice and work his way up though, he started right off with the name calling even before the separation.
I would say it even played a part of why they stopped listening to him in the first place and clung to the being that was nicer and showed more obvious concern (Flutters). They started disregarding his drive as him just being a jerk.
Uh, they wouldn’t listen any other way. And he was a jerk because he had a family to get back to and idiots who wanted to party were keeping him from them.
