I’m happy to announce my first portfolio - well, kind of :D
You may have seen some of these colorful speedpaints uploaded here already - but there are still more to come. And if you don’t want to wait any longer, you can get them all right now in this portfolio. It’s “pay what you want” so you can download it for free (just enter 0$ into the price field), but if you would like to support me with a donation (using PayPal) along with it that would be awesome”
Brings to mind these three stories about game development.
(more in-depth info about the first here from the developer’s own site)
also maybe hopefully others will contact her to say how much they love this thing she’s doing, and perhaps say something like “I was only going to pay a dollar but then I realised you did my favourite picture of X (say, Bracelestia/Filly celestia) and when I realised you were the same artist I felt like I should also pay for the enjoyment of that FREE piece.”
Because that seems to be what happens when someone bought something after getting those games free in those 3 links above.
Also I’d like to point out the similarity between the graphs for 0.00 and $1 for the World of Goo PWYW sale I think a lot of people who do PWYW first get it for free, then chip in $1-$5 as a way to say “This isn’t the thing I normally like, but good job here’s a tip!”
wait…
Don’t run, Macintosh!
