I think they’re trying to improve on Dreamworks’s style.
This is an unusually apt comparison, though, and I’m surprised nobody had commented on it yet. Compare Elsa in Frozen to any of several times Twilight got stressed out in FiM. Is being frozen really a worse way to go than being beaten to death by other ponies over a tattered old doll? Elsa’s so cool because she’s humanized Twilight.
Yes but the same team that made Frozen are the ones who made Tangled and it’s quite obvious that at least in terms of marketing they’re trying to emulate Dreamwork’s style.
It still boggles my mind that this isn’t a photograph.
My point was it’s not bedroom eyes.
but Prof…. Frozen is Disney.. Not Dreamworks.
