According to the old canon, Angron not only had feelings, but was also a powerful empathy psyker and could not only feel the suffering of the people around him, but also collect their negative feelings for himself, giving the slaves something like painkillers, but at the same time he suffers from their negative emotions, Angron also felt compassion for gladiator slaves, who are friends or even brothers for him, he pitied the poor people who specially watched gladiatorial fights so as not to suffer from their miserable life under the boots of rich aristocrats of Nuteria. The turning point occurred when the emperor forcibly teleported Angron to the flagship of the “Dogs of War” and forced him to watch as his slave brothers on the surface of the planet were brutally killed by the armies of aristocrats, that’s when Angron died, and only uncontrollable bloody rage and anger remained from him, if Angron was lucky with the world and he didn’t get if he had fallen into the dirty hands of the aristocrats of Nuteria, everything would have been fine with him…

Wallet After Summer Sale -

@Ardashir
It was at that point the Emperor knew that this was not Horus, that his son had vanished, and was replaced with a twisted version of a Primarch. After that, the Emperor let loose, and eradicated Horus from existence both in real space and the immaterium.

@Ardashir
From what I recall, it was the sheer, callous offhandedness of it. Horus killed Ollanius like swatting a bug. He didn’t need to; there was literally nothing Ollanius could do to him. Horus just killed him because he could and because he was annoyed, it wasn’t in service to anything, it wasn’t part of any plan. Just impulse and callous disregard.

My Little Pony - 1992 Edition

Maybe one of you WH40K fans can explain this to me: why did the Emperor wait until after Horus brutally and pointlessly slaughtered one single guardsman to kill him? Horus had butchered millions of the Emperor’s loyal subjects before that. What was so special about Pius?

This has nothing to do with what actually happened on the show, in this “verse” this is pre-“the equivalent of banish”, and those aren’t her biological children, so much as her modified clones who simply consider her a mother.

Oh thank fucking god.
Before I read what the stallion was saying, I thought this was pre-banishment.
I thought that someone had decided that Celestia was a mother before Nightmare Moon happened. I think that would have destroyed me.

Thanks for the fic link. It is a most interesting read. ^^

@d715
It definitely won’t end the same, because this is a slightly different universe. But it won’t be any less tragic though, sorry.

@Everyone
Interesting conversations about the lack of female participation in the Emperor’s court. Personally, I think the Imperium was pretty much a full blown patriarchy, there really was no place for females in it’s warrior culture. Except for the Ministorum of course, due to technicalities. And the Sisters of Silence too, because there were simply millions of witches that desperately wanted their bums burned off, and there was no one to organise it.

Heh, thinking about it, this picture is kind of sad. Two of the four characters in this image will be dead in the next few minutes, if this is where in the timeline I think it is.

@d715
But why should he?
It’s still extra effort, and not to mention the male frame is generally more suitable for melee, which seems to happen that much more often in 40k.
