Well she’s definitely her sister, but she seems to act as if she was the mother (due to a lack of one).
Actually, at this point I’d say it’s pretty obvious Applejack considers herself Apple Bloom’s de facto mother. The writers couldn’t make the notion that she’s raising AB like her own foal any more clearer.
