You’ve stepped past the realm of wanting your headcanon to be accepted and into the realm of attacking any disagreeing one just because it’s popular.
 
Step back and approach the situation like a reasonable person.

I’m not normally one to hate on ships, but for some reason just about everything involving Derpy seems to piss me off nowadays.
 
First it was Dinky getting railroaded as Derpy’s daughter, then Doctor Whooves as the husband, and now it’s Pipsqueak as the future son-in-law. These characters have absolutely no reason to be paired up as much as they are, but Derpy’s fans act like the mythology they’ve created for Derpy trumps all fanon.
 
Believe it or not, some of us love Doctor Whooves but don’t want him having anything to do with Derpy, and to some of us Dinky is just a rather bland-looking background pony who doesn’t have enough personality to be shipped with a minor scripted character like Pipsqueak. Unfortunately, Derpy’s fans always seem to drown out the voices of anyone with a different interpretation of a character that they think is connected to Derpy, even when the show itself discredits much of Derpy’s fanon.

Why wouldn’t the doctor like pip? They would have the accent and fondness of tea

The Doctor doesn’t like Pip. Darn New Lunists, coming into HIS house and seducing HIS… daughter / niece / younger sister (?)

I can’t get the idea of Pipsqueak as Rory out of my head.
