Don’t get me wrong, some fans actually have impressive merchandise collections.

I have none, but I oddly once had a dream about getting the DJ one.
Though, I told a friend of mine if I ever started collecting MLP toys, he has my permission to kick my ass. lol
…Not that there’s anything wrong with others doing that. Heck, I have some Nintendo Amiibo. (I actually bought “Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival” just for Isabelle.) So I’m not one to make fun.

hey, they had Twilight alicorn toys being advertised well before the end of Season 3. Hasbro wants its toys ready to go as soon as they can, they don’t want to have “slow” starts where enthusiasm can wane.
Yeah, as much as I love Luna & DJ, I’m tired of them always leaving out either Applejack, or Rarity. (Or both.) Though, I suppose it’s nice those 2 are getting a li’l recognition.
I’m actually a li’l surprised to see DJ, sense as I said below, she rarely ever appears. (Though, she’s arguably quite popular, and there’s rumors she’s going to have a bigger role in the EG sequel movie.)

That would probably explain how Pinkie became the Bumblebee of MLP:FiM. What is more girly than a bright pink Pony?
I actually do wonder how many of the target audience buys applejack toys. I’m not knocking applejack as I love her as a character, but I know that a decent amount of sales for the target audience comes from adults who don’t know ANYTHING about the show or what the kids want.
They just know “girls like my little ponies” and buy the Girliest or most colorful one they can find. I know that’s how my 4 year old niece got a ton of her toys.
So I can’t see applejack catching the eyes of those impulse kind of purchases.
You know, since she is like a Pony Version of Soundwave.
I get a feeling hasbro would order her off the show if they could get away with it.
