Haha, poor Dash. She really must despise having a tail at times (and a screaming Day-Glo one, at that). I can only imagine how disconcerting & frustrating that would be for a pegasus in flight, let alone one as impulsive as her!
Also, I don’t know how she’s managed to avoid developing a freakin’ spinal abnormality after all the times somepony’s grabbed her like that. Man, pony interaction is rough!
 
Well, acrouding to the MLP Enterplay collectible card game, on one of the cards, Rainbow Dash says “Okay, seriously, why does EVERYPONY grab me by the tail?”

Applejack and Pinkie Pie don’t always grab a piece of tail, but when they do, they prefer Rainbow Dash.
